It is about a urban conglomerado that was conformed as an irregular way, following the access street and the land characteristics. This particularty is most important compared with the other cities in the Calchaqui Valley. These were founded by the spanish and formed by a cuadricula with the main square and the institutions around.
There are ancient buildings from the begining of the city, with a marked traditional caracter, through the use of local materials and the respect of the sorrounding.
Actually the city has all the touristics services needed for a pleasure stay.
